South Korean hangover soup for the soul
Rice is a staple food ingredient in Asia, but rice being used in soup is ubiquitous in Korean cuisine, which has hundreds of varieties of the dish. Among the many kinds, there is one specific dish eaten the day after a night of drinking called haejang-guk, or which literally means hangover soup.
